Frederic Magnien Saint Romain Blanc 2016

Frederic Magnien Saint Romain Blanc 2016 Abv. : 13% - 750ml Geographical Description Saint-Romain is located a dozen kilometers southwest of Beaune. We know that the site of Saint-Romain has been occupied by man for 100,000 years thanks to the excavations that have taken place on its land since 1966. During the Bronze Age (800 BC) men lived at the foot of the cliffs between Meursault and the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Our Saint-Romain comes from the place called Sous la Velle (area of 0.40 hectares), and comes from old vines (around 50 years old). Geological Description The vines are planted on stony, arid, marl-limestone soils from the Upper Jurassic. The bottom of the alluvial-colluvial valley is hollowed out in the well-drained Aargau marls, well suited to the Chardonnay grape variety. Food & Wine Pairing This Saint-Romain will go well with dishes such as tuna avocado chirashi or scallops with leeks.
